Checking Medication Information

The Annals of Pharmacotherapy thinks that Wikipedia is just not good enough - not a full set of information for safe use by consumers. They compared Wikipedia against the traditional source of prescription drug information Mescape Drug Reference.
I did my own check using Omeprazole as my drug of interest:
- Medscape was good
- Wikipedia is pretty good - more international in its reporting
- rxwiki was very good
- Mayo Clinic was of course good
- Medco was informative and believable
- The Drug Information Portal run by the US National Library of Medicine seems the most comprehensive because it pulls in all the 'official' sources on drug information.
- this looks like a site to use in the future.

My personal 1 2 3:
- RxWiki
- Medco was good and easy to follow
- Drug Information Portal has enough information to sear the retina.
